Forever England, independent home accessories retailer has re-opened in a new Salisbury location.
City property consultancy Myddelton & Major brokered the deal.
Forever England’s new centrally-located home is a 521 sq ft character shop at 28 Butcher Row, for which quoted rent was £30,000 a year on a new 10-year lease.
The business was named after a line in the Rupert Brooke WW1 poem The Soldier and first opened in Salisbury in 2009.
Myddelton & Major partner Simon Lee said: “I was delighted to help owners James Thomas and Katie Powell find another city location after their previous shop in New Canal closed just after Christmas.”
“Forever England provides an excellent range of individual home accessories, giftware and bedding and the shop’s return to Salisbury in particularly apt period premises is hugely welcome at this time.”
The retail unit fronts a busy pedestrian area which forms part of the city’s primary shopping core, forming a pedestrian link between Silver Street and Queen Street and with a return frontage to Ox Row, facing on to the Market Place.
Other occupiers trading close by include Tiger, Patisserie Valerie, Goldsmiths, Timpson, Ernest Jones and Shoe Zone.
