For the second year running, the Tractor and 4×4 Grand Tour of Salisbury Plain raises funds for the Salisbury District Hospital Stars Appeal’s MRI Scanner Campaign. Last year, more than 200 vehicles took part and in excess of £7,000 was raised.

On April 28, people can take part again. Bruce Waight of Compton Farm, Enford, and Richard Pocock of Manor Farm, Berwick St John, have already planned the route which will be different from last year’s.

The route is about 35 miles, with a lunch stop in the centre of the Plain, included in the £20 entry fee. By courtesy of Devizes Young Farmers, breakfast baps are available at Wiltshire Grain, as well as hot drinks in the afternoon.

All proceeds are donated to Salisbury District Hospital Stars Appeal’s MRI Scanner Campaign. Entry forms can be downloaded from www.berwickstjohncountyfayre.co.uk.
